My awesome flash drive is helping me get work done with ninja like reflexes and startlingly quick deadline meeting skills.
Also, he is getting me mad compliments and a few jealous comments.
Ninjas for life.

Boston Bound
The company I used to work for has asked me to come up to Boston to freelance for them in house for a week, so as of tomorrow at 8am I’ll be on a plane to MA. I’m actually really excited to go, because it means that I’ll get to see a bunch of my Beantown friends and spend some quality time enjoying the area.
That being said, it was really short notice and it’s been difficult to get everything prepared for the trip while continuing to work on meeting the deadlines for these projects. There isn’t enough time in the day, unfortunately and it’s making my Tuesday a little more hectic and stressful than I’d like… I guess that’s how these things go, though! If they weren’t busy, they wouldn’t be asking me to come up there and help them get things done!
Luckily for me, Massachusetts has been having some great weather, so I don’t mind heading back up to the North!
Maggie is trying to help me do my work this afternoon. This is a great example of why working from the couch is not successful. But she sure is cuddly.
Tomorrow
Is my last day at work. Excited, stressed out and a little sad all at once.
War Against Christmas by Alan Saller
At my job I design packaging for Christmas items (among many other things). It means that I spend the better part of the year knee deep in Christmas decorations and glitter. This pretty much sums up how I feel about the whole thing in a nutshell.

whoa whoa whoa
can we all agree that it is completely inappropriate to clip your fingernails at your desk? mind you, this is the same woman who blasts her keyboard with canned air everyday at noon for a solid five minutes.
okay, glad i got that out of the way…
but seriously?
I think I work with this lady’s brother. He does the exact same thing. Every day it’s nail clipping and air cans. Argh.

Love this.
Space heater in action.
I won the raffle at the work party. My prize? A miniature space heater with lights & a running video of a fire. Priceless.

These were featured on Design Sponge and they make me smile, so I thought I’d share.
