High-res allidoiswatchthesky: After a weekend of listening to Ali and I’s blog chatter in Fort Lauderdale, it looks like Caroline decided to join tumblr! Things to know about Caroline: 1. She was my very first friend at Wake. I think initially I was just relieved to be hanging out with someone who had interests outside of Jesus (I was on an interesting freshman dorm hall), but I quickly learned she had many other quality traits. 2. She is fiercely loyal and always has your back 3. She’s basically blind without her contacts/glasses. So if you wake her from a dead sleep by standing over the bed, she will not be able to see who you are and start screaming “I will f-ck you up” repeatedly (as her husband recently learned) 4. When John and I had been dating for only two weeks and were two weeks away from graduation, she sat him down and basically told him he would be a moron to not keep dating me long distance. 5. There’s a reason she was a high school and college cheerleader and a cheer coach at the high school she teaches at, her enthusiasm is infectious. 6. She’s one of my favorite people in the whole world Go forth and follow and enjoy :) All of these statements are true. I have one addendum though: Caro used to be a notoriously picky eater. I shared an apartment with her for two years, so I know. She wouldn’t eat parsley, because it was green. This weekend, though, I have discovered that she is a much more adventurous eater… Not only am I incredibly proud (Christie and I use to force feed her green beans) but I am impressed. Changing a diet as well as an attitude takes determination and follow through, and those are things Caro definitely possesses in all aspects of her life. She doesn’t back down when she’s made a choice, and that is worthy of some respect. I love you, Care!
